L'dor V'dor - A special afternoon with our grandparents

Thank you to everyone who joined us for our annual Term 1 Grandparents Club event, a truly meaningful afternoon marked by connection, reflection and pride.

Seeing Moriah grandparents and great grandparents gathered together, many of whom are alumni and past parents themselves, is always a powerful reminder of what we mean when we talk about “The Moriah Family” and highlights the enduring role grandparents play in passing values and traditions from one generation to the next.

The highlight for many was, of course, the Year 2 students, whose songs and artwork brought smiles and nachas to everyone in the room.

The afternoon also reinforced the vital role of Jewish education in building pride, belonging, resilience, identity and continuity. Foundation President, Judy Lowy, spoke passionately about the responsibility we share in safeguarding the future of our children and community. She outlined the progress of the High School campus redevelopment, emphasising that investing in education today is one of the most powerful ways we can ensure long-term sustainability.
