Signature Programs

The Moriah Foundation's Signature Programs

With the support of our generous donors, The Moriah Foundation brings a range of local and global signature programs to our students and graduates. Your support of our remarkable signature programs enables our children to develop an appreciation for the critical role they play as the next link in the chain of our people, and to be suitably prepared to achieve personal excellence in a fast-changing world.

Our Moriah students and alumni return home from these global experiences in Israel and New York as more agile, inspired and motivated learners, and as more engaged and committed members of our community.

Israel Study Tour (IST)

The Israel Study Tour is a highlight of Moriah life. Year 10 students travel to Poland to learn about the vibrant Jewish life in pre-war Europe, contrasted by the atrocities of the Holocaust, followed by a five week visit to Israel. This transformative, immersive experience instils in every student, a deep and enduring connection with our homeland and a deep sense of Jewish identity, knowledge and pride.

Your support of the IST program will help to ensure that students don’t miss out on this life-changing experience due to financial constraints.

Scholars in Entrepreneurship

Through the generous philanthropic support of Kelly+Partners Chartered Accountants, The Moriah College Scholars in Entrepreneurship program inspires Year 11 students to look for solutions of real-world problems, to innovate and be entrepreneurial. Shortlisted applicants deliver their pitch to an expert panel with five successful applicants nominated as Moriah Scholars to travel to Israel on a one-week study trip to learn firsthand from the ingenuity of the Start-up Nation.

Mikolot: Voices of the Future

Mikolot promotes greater collaboration between our Jewish school students, cultivates the public speaking skills of our youth, and fosters a more refined expression of Jewish voices in the modern world. Students prepare and present a short address on a topic relating to Jewish life and are encouraged to consider how they can positively contribute to society and the Jewish world and enhance their capacity to influence others.

We’re thrilled that Arnold Bloch Leibler (ABL) are the exclusive sponsor of the Mikolot: Voices of the Future competition in recognition of their generous support and significant contribution to our Moriah community.

The Moriah Brownstone Jewish Leadership Program

The Moriah Brownstone Jewish Leadership Program provides Moriah alumni, currently studying at an Australian university, with a unique opportunity to intern in their industry of choice in New York and attend informative seminars with successful Jewish communal leaders and influencers. This phenomenal opportunity promotes career development, Jewish learning and leadership and with your support we can continue to provide this program to our Moriah Alumni.
